To anyone out there who is looking for free legal assistance, below are links to two different South Carolina Bar free legal assistance programs that we are proud to be participating in:

The South Carolina Bar Public Services Program will once again be sponsoring Ask-A-Lawyer (AAL) TV-phone banks and web chats in Charleston and Columbia in the fall of 2018. We are participating in the August 29, 2018 Ask-A-Lawyer program. If you would like to call in or chat with us on the web, please see this link for more information:   SC Bar Free Legal Assistance Programs

We are also participating in the South Carolina Bar/ABA Free Legal Answers program, where qualifying individuals can post legal questions online and get legal answers from an attorney licensed in South Carolina. You can get more information here:  South Carolina Bar/ABA Free Legal Answers

We are also hosting pro bono (free) legal clinics at our office on a bi-weekly basis. Please check here to find out more about our program or contact us to see when the next one is scheduled.

If you are in need of legal help but don’t think that you can afford an attorney, take a look at these programs and see if you qualify to talk to a lawyer for free. South Carolina attorneys have an obligation to provide free legal services to those in need, and help is often available for those who take the time to look for it.
