The Admiralty Lawyers were happy to read that, despite the tragic passing of Capt. Lucas Smith, his distinctive charterboat OSPREY, a 61 foot wooden head boat built in Harker’s Island, is back on the water and running charters and keeping Capt. Smith’s dream alive thanks to several of his longtime friends. The boat has reportedly been on the hill for some much needed repairs and maintenance since being purchased from the Captain’s estate. Hopefully, the OSPREY will once again be seen cruising Charleston Harbor and gracing the docks of Shem Creek.
